At July 15 extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, the draft law on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Offences authored by the Government was debated in the second reading.

The Head of Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the RA Prime Minister’s Staff Artur Asoyan informed that the bill was not amended.

The Deputy Chair of the Committee Anna Karapetyan made a co-report and noted that as a result of the debate, a decision was made to amend the presented bill.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Remuneration of Persons Holding Public Positions and Public Service Positions authored by the NA deputies Viktor Yengibaryan and Nikolay Baghdasaryan was also debated at the Committee in the second reading.

The key rapporteur Viktor Yengibaryan stated that the MPs did not present proposals related to the bill, except the co-author Nikolay Baghdasaryan who presented editorial proposals.

The co-rapporteur, the NA deputy Sisak Gabrielyan proposed to endorse the draft law.

The RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Davit Khachatryan has informed that the position of the Government is positive and the presented justifications are acceptable by the executive body.

The debated draft laws were endorsed.
